The Printerverse – March marks the return of Print HERstory Month, an annual celebration dedicated to amplifying women’s voices in the printing industry that coincides with Women’s History Month. Hosted and founded by Girls Who Print, this year’s initiative aligns with the United Nations’ 2025 International Women’s Day theme, “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”
Now in its seventh year, Print HERstory Month honors the fierce, fabulous females who shape the printing industry by sharing their journeys, challenges, and triumphs to inspire future generations. Through storytelling and advocacy, this month-long campaign fosters awareness of women’s contributions to the industry and highlights the importance of equity, parity, and inclusion for all.
International Women’s Day Conference – March 7, 2025
As part of the monthlong celebration, Girls Who Print will host an International Women’s Day Conference on March 7, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET (GMT -5). This free virtual event will bring together industry leaders, advocates, and community members to discuss women in the workplace, strategies for forging successful careers in print, securing supportive male allies, and best ways to empower the next generation. It will provide a global platform for networking, thought leadership, and collaboration.
A Call to Action for Change
Print HERstory Month is more than a celebration – it’s a movement. Women in print worldwide are invited to answer the Q&A posted on our site, share their stories, and reshare the posts of participants using #PrintHERstoryMonth across social channels.
“As we celebrate Print HERstory Month, we recognize the progress women have made in print while acknowledging the work still to be done,” said Deborah Corn, Executive Director of Girls Who Print, a global nonprofit organization. “This year’s theme resonates deeply with our mission to empower women worldwide by cultivating a vibrant and supportive global community that drives innovation, fosters mentorship and collaboration, fuels career growth, and helps secure the future of print.”
