Contiweb takes the next step in repositioning and becomes an independent company under AIP ownership

1^st March 2018 – Contiweb, a renowned specialist in state-of-the-art technologies for advanced drying and web-handling products for printing, today announced its plan to formalize its separation and operate as an independent company. Today, Goss and manrolan web systems announced the combination of their printing press businesses, with expected completion in mid-2018, subject to regulatory [and other] approvals. After transaction close, Contiweb will become a separate company under the ownership of American Industrial Partners with operations headquartered in Boxmeer, Netherlands.

As an independent company, Contiweb will continue its growth agenda in becoming the premier ancillary supplier for Commercial and Digital Inkjet printing applications and press supplier for Label & Packaging applications. In addition, Contiweb will also continue its strong focus on product lifetime support by offering its full suite of aftermarket solutions for customers.

Bert Schoonderbeek, Managing Director at Contiweb, sees this development as a natural step, following the Contiweb re-positioning in 2016. “We will continue to build upon our successful relationship with both Goss and manroland and are looking forward to continuing the cooperation as a strong partner of the combined company as we pursue other diversification opportunities,” he explains. “Contiweb’s separation marks a new era for further growth of the company.”

Until transaction close, sales and service channels will remain unchanged.

Le 1er mars 2018, Contiweb, spécialiste reconnu des technologies de pointe destinées aux produits avancés de séchage et de déroulage des bobines d’impression a annoncé son intention de formaliser sa séparation et son exploitation en tant que société indépendante. Aujourd’hui, Goss et Manroland Web Systems ont annoncé le regroupement de leurs activités d’imprimerie, avec une entrée en vigueur prévue mi-2018, soumise entre autres à des approbations réglementaires.

Une fois la transaction conclue, Contiweb deviendra une société distincte, propriété d’American Industrial Partners et le siège social de ses opérations se trouvera à Boxmeer aux Pays-Bas.

En tant que société indépendante, Contiweb poursuivra ses perspectives de croissance en devenant le principal fournisseur auxiliaire d’applications d’impression jet d’encre numérique et commerciale et fournisseur de rotatives pour les applications d’étiquettes et d’emballage. En outre, Contiweb continuera également à se concentrer sur l’assistance technique à vie en offrant aux clients sa suite complète de solutions du marché secondaire.

Heute gaben Goss und die manroland web systems GmbH die Zusammenlegung ihrer Druckmaschinengeschäfte bekannt, die – vorbehaltlich der behördlichen (und weiteren) Genehmigungen – bis Mitte 2018 abgeschlossen sein soll. Nach Abschluss der Transaktion wird Contiweb ein eigenständiges Unternehmen unter dem Dach von American Industrial Partners mit Sitz in Boxmeer, Niederlande, werden.

Contiweb wird als unabhängiges Unternehmen seinen Wachstumskurs fortsetzen und zum führenden Zulieferer für kommerzielle und digitale Inkjet-Druckanwendungen sowie zum Druckmaschinenlieferanten für Etiketten- und Verpackungsanwendungen werden. Darüber hinaus wird Contiweb seinen starken Fokus auch weiterhin auf die Unterstützung der Produktlebensdauer legen und seinen Kunden die gesamte Palette der Aftermarket-Lösungen anbieten.
