Mimaki Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of Mimaki Europe, will take visitors to viscom 2020 (Düsseldorf, Germany, 7-9 January 2020) on a journey through its comprehensive portfolio of cost-effective and profit-generating inkjet printing solutions. Under the theme ‘Join the colourful experience’, the leading manufacturer of inkjet printers and cutting systems will demonstrate how sign makers, textile and digital print service providers can use Mimaki technology to produce an unrivalled range of eye-catching print applications and enter new profitable markets. This diverse solutions and applications line-up will also attract visitors from PSI and PromoTex Expo, tradeshows held at Messe Düsseldorf concurrently with viscom 2020.

Central to the Mimaki booth (Hall 13, Stand F41) will be the company’s JV300-160 Plus and CG-160FXll Plus from Mimaki’s recently launched Plus series, the next generation of its industry-acclaimed large-format printing and cutting solutions. Shown for the first time in Germany, the JV300-160 Plus and the CG-160FXII Plus boast substantial productivity increases on previous models, in addition to delivering superior print quality at faster printing speeds. This is enabled by MAPS4, the latest version of the Mimaki Advanced Pass System which uses a unique algorithm to calculate the most effective way of jetting ink drops to avoid visible banding. Reliable productivity is assured with Mimaki’s pioneering NCU (Nozzle Check Unit) and NRS (Nozzle Recovery System), while a brand-new, advanced Take-Up device enables the handling of rolls up to 45kg – preventing media shifting and ensuring a smoother, more efficient production process.

A next-generation eco-solvent/sublimation printer, the JV300-160 Plus sets a new benchmark for professional wide format printers, sportswear and fashion manufacturers, as well as print shops. Offering the unrivalled versatility of multiple ink types and wider colour gamut (including, orange and light black), it delivers photo-quality prints at outstanding speeds (up to 105.9m² per hour in super-draft mode). At viscom 2020, Mimaki will demonstrate the JV300-160 Plus printing live with orange ink. The Mimaki CG-160FXll Plus is a brand-new multi-cutting plotter featuring a new ID Cut function which enables users to vastly improve work efficiency. When combined with the JV300-160 Plus, it allows continuous cutting operations to be performed automatically for small-quantity and multi-product orders of stickers and labels. The combined systems ensure that an entire operation can be completed in a single specification of data, so that operators can proceed with other jobs simultaneously.

Mimaki will also demonstrate the benefits of its latest 3D printing solutions. Visitors to the booth will experience the unparalleled levels of photorealism achieved by the company’s flagship 3DUJ-553 3D printer, which prints in over 10 million colours. Building on Mimaki’s extensive colour expertise, as well as on the company’s core technologies in 2D printing, the 3DUJ-553 enables the production of true full colour, super fine details and smooth surfaces (with options to print in 19, 32 or 42µm layers), achieving consistent and repeatable results. At the show in Düsseldorf, Mimaki will produce mock-ups of small, everyday items live on the stand to inspire visitors with the range of application opportunities enabled by its 3D printer.

A further 3D printing technology highlight will be the 3DFF-222. Based on Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) and using PLA material, the 3DFF-222 is designed to enable sign and display printers to produce jigs used in direct-to-object printing in-house. The 3D printer will be combined with the Mimaki UJF-3042 MkII EX, an advanced small format direct-to-object UV LED flatbed printer, offering increased productivity, supreme print quality and ease-of-use for on-demand printing onto almost any material or substrate in A3 format, up to 153mm thick. Mimaki will use the combination of the two printing systems to illustrate how users can enhance their production of 3D signage and target new profitable markets with creative 3D applications.

• Mimaki JFX200-2513 EX: A cutting-edge large flatbed UV inkjet printer, it incorporates Mimaki Core Technologies, including Nozzle Check Unit (NCU) and Nozzle Recovery System (NRS). The JFX200-2513 is equipped with Mimaki 2.5D Texture Maker, a proprietary layering technology that uniquely enables smooth embossed print with enticing-to-touch dimensional textured effects, opening new and valuable application opportunities for customers. Ideal for demanding production workflows, the JFX200-2513 prints on substrates up to 2,500mm x 1,300mm, in a wide variety of materials including white board, transparent/coloured board, wood, cardboard and metal.
• Mimaki UCJV300-75: An award-winning UV integrated printer/cutter for sign and graphics, featuring a white ink capability. The UCJV300-75 enables four-layer printing, ideal for creating graphics for backlit applications, and five-layer printing for producing designs on both sides of the substrate simultaneously, perfect for transparent film. Visitors will also see high-quality metallic foil labels printed using this solution.
• Mimaki CJV150-107: An entry-level printer/cutter, offering high performance, versatility and richness in colour. At viscom 2020, the CJV150-107 will feature the Sb54 sublimation ink but is also compatible with solvent ink, making it a cost-effective solution for sign makers, display graphics professionals and printshops.

The company will also present a range of creative promotional products, such as stickers, labels, key holders and other personalised items – further demonstrating how advanced digital printing enables value-adding, profit-driving personalisation capabilities.

Der JV300-160 Plus und der CG-160FXII, die erstmals in Deutschland zu sehen sein werden, zeichnen sich durch weitaus höhere Produktivität als Vorgängermodelle aus und bieten eine hervorragende Druckqualität bei höherer Druckgeschwindigkeit. Ermöglicht wird das durch MAPS4, die neueste Version des Mimaki Advanced Pass Systems. Mit einem speziellen Algorithmus berechnet MAPS4, wie Tintentropfen am besten so aufgesprüht werden können, dass sichtbare Streifenbildung vermieden wird. Zuverlässige Produktivität gewährleisten Mimakis bahnbrechende Technologien NCU (Nozzle Check Unit; Düsenprüfung) und NRS (Nozzle Recovery System; Düsenwiederherstellung). Eine brandneue, innovative Aufnahmeeinheit soll das Handling von Rollen von bis 45 kg ermöglichen und gleichzeitig das Verrutschen des Materials verhindern, wodurch ein reibungsloser, effizienterer Produktionsprozess gewährleistet ist.

Als Eco-Solvent-/Sublimationsdrucker der nächsten Generation setzt der JV300-160 Plus neue Maßstäbe für Großformatdruckereien, Hersteller von Sportbekleidung und Modeartikeln sowie andere Druckdienstleister. Er zeichnet sich nicht nur durch seine Farbbrillanz (einschließlich Orange und Light Black), sondern auch durch seine fotorealistische Druckqualität und hohe Druckgeschwindigkeit (bis 105,9 m² pro Stunde im Super-Draft-Modus) aus. Auf der viscom 2020 wird Mimaki den JV300-160 Plus mit orangefarbener Tinte live vorführen. Der brandneue Schneideplotter CG-160FXll Plus von Mimaki verfügt über eine neue ID Cut-Funktion für noch effizienteres Schneiden. In Kombination mit dem JV300-160 Plus ermöglicht er einen kontinuierlichen, vollautomatischen Druck- und Schneidebetrieb für die Herstellung von Aufklebern und Etiketten in kleinen Auflagen. Dank dieser vollautomatischen Verarbeitung können Bediener gleichzeitig andere Aufträge vorbereiten.

Außerdem wird Mimaki die Vorzüge seiner neuesten 3D-Drucklösungen präsentieren. Messebesucher am Stand von Mimaki werden sich mit eigenen Augen von der unübertroffen fotorealistischen Ausgabe seines 3D-Flaggschiff-Druckers 3DUJ-553 überzeugen können, der mehr als 10 Millionen Farben druckt. Der 3DUJ-553 basiert auf der langjährigen Erfahrung von Mimaki im 2D-Farbdruck und überzeugt auf ganzer Linie durch seine farbgetreue Wiedergabe, hohe Detail- und Wiederholgenauigkeit und glatten Oberflächen (optionaler Druck von Schichten mit einer Stärke von 19, 32 oder 42 µm). An seinem Messestand in Düsseldorf wird Mimaki die Herstellung von Modellen für kleine Alltagsgegenstände live vorführen, damit sich die Messebesucher von den vielfältigen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten seines 3D-Druckers inspirieren lassen können.

Ein weiteres Highlight im 3D-Druck wird der 3DFF-222 sein. Mit seiner FFF-Technologie (Fused Filament Fabrication) und dem PLA-Material ermöglicht der 3DFF-222 Schilder- und Displayherstellern die Herstellung von Schablonen für den Direct-to-Shape Druck. Dieser 3D-Drucker wird mit dem UJF-3042 MkII EX von Mimaki kombiniert, einem hochmodernen UV-LED-Flachbettdrucker für das Kleinformat. Mit seiner höheren Produktivität, hervorragenden Druckqualität und einfachen Bedienung ermöglicht er den On-Demand-Direktdruck auf nahezu jedes Material oder Substrat im A3-Format mit einer Stärke von bis zu 153 mm. Durch die Kombination dieser zwei Drucksysteme wird Mimaki zeigen, wie Anwender ihre Produktion von 3D-Schildern und -Werbetechnik optimieren und mit kreativen 3D-Anwendungen neue, lukrative Märkte erschließen können.

• Mimaki JFX200-2513 EX: Ein innovativer UF-Flachbett-Inkjetdrucker für das Großformat, der mit Mimaki-Kerntechnologie ausgestattet ist, einschließlich NCU (Nozzle Check Unit) und NRS (Nozzle Recovery System). Der in den JFX200-2513 integrierte 2.5D Texture Maker mit der von Mimaki entwickelten Layerdruck-technologie ermöglicht die Erstellung von glatten Prägedrucken mit mehrdimensionalen Textureffekten. Er eröffnet Kunden neue und profitable Anwendungsmöglichkeiten. Der JFX200-2513 eignet sich hervorragend für anspruchsvolle Produktionsabläufe und bedruckt eine Vielzahl von Substraten bis zu einer Größe von 2.500 mm x 1.300 mm, wie u. a. Whiteboards, transparente/farbige Tafeln, Holz, Karton und Metall.
• Mimaki UCJV300-75: Mit seiner Weißdruck-Funktion und seinem vierlagigen Druck ist dieses preisgekrönte UV-Druck- und Schneidesystem hervorragend für die Herstellung von Grafiken für Backlit-Anwendungen geeignet. Zudem ermöglicht der UCJV300-75 den fünflagigen Druck, um beide Substratseiten gleichzeitig mit verschiedenen Motiven zu bedrucken – perfekt für transparente Folien. Den Messebesuchern werden hochwertige bedruckte Metallfolien präsentiert.
• Mimaki CJV150-107: Dieser kombinierte Drucker und Schneideplotter im Einstiegssegment zeichnet sich durch hohe Leistung, Vielseitigkeit und Farbqualität aus. Auf der viscom 2020 wird der CJV150-107 mit der Sublimationstinte Sb54 vorgeführt. Er ist allerdings auch mit Lösemitteltinte kompatibel und bietet so eine kostengünstige Lösung für Hersteller von Werbetechnik, POS-Profis und Druckdienstleister.

Außerdem wird das Unternehmen verschiedenste kreative Werbeartikel präsentieren, wie u. a. Aufkleber, Etiketten, Schlüsselbretter und andere personalisierte Objekte.
