Se prevé que este enfoque innovador elimine aproximadamente 44 toneladas de plástico y 65 toneladas de emisiones de CO2 al año, lo que subraya el compromiso de Mimaki con un futuro más ecológico.

Además, el menor peso de los cartuchos de tinta de cartón se traduce en una reducción estimada de 8 toneladas de emisiones de CO2 durante el transporte, lo que contribuye aún más a una sociedad descarbonizada.

Como reconocimiento a su diseño innovador y a su envase respetuoso con el medio ambiente, el cartucho de tinta recibió el prestigioso «Premio de la Categoría de Embalajes Industriales» en el Concurso de Embalajes de Japón de 2023.

Innovación para un futuro más verde

En consonancia con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), Mimaki sigue defendiendo la gestión y la tecnología de reciclaje de recursos.

Mimaki también trabaja para ofrecer soluciones sostenibles en diversos sectores, con innovaciones de última generación como:

• Neo-Chromato Process: esta innovadora tecnología facilita el reciclaje de materiales, lo que supone una reducción sustancial de las emisiones de CO2 gracias a la reutilización de los materiales textiles.
• TRAPIS: el sistema de transferencia de pigmentos para impresión textil permite imprimir sobre tejidos sin necesidad de técnicas especializadas ni conocimientos técnicos, lo que fomenta la eficacia y la sostenibilidad en la producción textil.
• M2COA: un sistema automatizado de embalaje para el sector de la impresión industrial de productos, que resuelve los problemas de escasez de mano de obra en el negocio de los servicios de impresión mediante la racionalización de las operaciones.

Además de estas soluciones, todas ellas expuestas en su stand de la drupa 2024, Mimaki ha puesto en marcha medidas medioambientales como la reducción del material de relleno en los envases de tinta de 2 litros en todas las plantas de producción de tinta a partir de marzo de 2023.
