Mimaki Europe, a leading manufacturer of inkjet printers and cutting technologies, has announced the appointment of Takao Terashima as the new Managing Director.

Starting his career in Mimaki in 1997 as part of the R&D Department, Terashima has developed his extensive expertise in Mimaki’s technology portfolio and the surrounding market over the past 26 years. Throughout his time at the company, he has taken up various senior positions across the company. Prior to this new role, he was Senior General Manager of the Asia Oceania Business Unit, a position he first started in 2017. Before this, he spent six months as Senior Deputy General Manager of Quality Management between April and October 2017.

Terashima’s career path has led him to work beyond Mimaki’s headquarters in Japan, in positions across Mimaki’s branches. He spent four years as Managing Director of Mimaki Singapore between 2013 and 2017, and he also worked at Mimaki USA early in his career as part of the technical support staff.

Succeeding Takahiro Hiraki as Managing Director of Mimaki Europe, Terashima will bring his industry expertise, analytical thinking, business and team-building skills, as well as his extensive company knowledge, to this new role.

Mimaki Europe, een toonaangevende fabrikant van inkjetprinters en snijtechnologieën, benoemt Takao Terashima tot nieuwe Managing Director van Mimaki Europe.

Terashima begon zijn carrière bij Mimaki in 1997 als lid van de R&D-afdeling en heeft in de afgelopen 26 jaar uitgebreide expertise ontwikkeld in het technologieportfolio van Mimaki en de bijbehorende markt. Mimaki Europe, l’un des principaux fabricants d’imprimantes à jet d’encre et de technologies de découpe, a annoncé la nomination de Takao Terashima au poste de nouveau Directeur Général.

M. Terashima a débuté sa carrière chez Mimaki en 1997, au sein du département R&D, et a développé sa vaste expertise du portefeuille technologique de Mimaki et du marché de l’impression au cours des 26 années suivantes. Durant cette période, il a occupé divers postes de direction au sein de l’entreprise. Avant sa nomination, il était Directeur Général Senior de la business unit Asie Océanie, un poste qu’il a occupé depuis 2017. Avant cela, il a passé six mois en tant que Directeur Général Adjoint Senior de la Gestion de la Qualité, entre avril et octobre 2017.

Le parcours professionnel de Takao Terashima l’a amené à quitter le siège central de Mimaki au Japon pour travailler dans plusieurs filiales de la société. Il a passé quatre ans en tant que Directeur Général de Mimaki Singapour entre 2013 et 2017, et également travaillé chez Mimaki USA au début de sa carrière, au sein de l’équipe de support technique.

Succédant à Takahiro Hiraki au poste de Directeur Général de Mimaki Europe, M. Terashima apportera à cette nouvelle mission son expertise du secteur, sa pensée analytique, ses compétences dans le domaine des affaires et du team-building, ainsi que sa connaissance approfondie de l’entreprise.

Terashima begann seine Laufbahn bei Mimaki 1997 in der Forschungs- und Entwicklungsabteilung des Unternehmens. Takao Terashima ha iniziato la sua carriera presso Mimaki nel 1997 nel Dipartimento di Ricerca e Sviluppo e negli ultimi 26 anni ha acquisito notevoli conoscenze dei prodotti e tecnologie di Mimaki e dei mercati di riferimento. Nel corso della sua carriera, Terashima ha ricoperto diverse posizioni di responsabilità a tutti i livelli aziendali. Prima di essere nominato amministrato delegato di Mimaki Europe, ha operato come direttore generale senior della Business Unit Asia Oceania, posizione che ha inizialmente assunto nel 2017. Takao Terashima rozpoczął pracę w Mimaki w 1997 roku jako pracownik działu badawczo-rozwojowego. Od ponad 26 lat rozwija swoją rozległą wiedzę na temat oferty technologicznej firmy Mimaki i otaczającego jej rynku. W trakcie kariery w przedsiębiorstwie obejmował różne stanowiska kierownicze. Przed objęciem nowej roli był starszym dyrektorem generalnym jednostki biznesowej Azja i Ocenia. Pracował na tym stanowisku od 2017 roku.
