Taking TRAPIS on the Road

Following the system’s announcement earlier this year, Heimtextil will serve as a stop on Mimaki’s global TRAPIS Roadshow, launched in Amsterdam with the Mimaki’s Textile Day Open House on 27^th November. Als weltweit größte Fachmesse für Wohn- und Objekttextilien bietet die Veranstaltung Mimaki die Möglichkeit, das TRAPIS-System, die neueste nachhaltige Innovation des Unternehmens, am Stand B96 in der Halle 3.0 zu demonstrieren.

Mit seinem umweltfreundlichen zweistufigen Textil-Transferdruckverfahren für Pigmenttinte dürfte das TRAPIS-System, das Anfang dieses Jahres auf den Markt kam, die Textilbranche revolutionieren. Diese nahezu wasserlose Lösung ist ideal für breit gefächerte Anwendungen wie Heimtextilien, da mit nur einer Tintenart farbenfrohe Drucke auf einer Vielzahl verschiedener Materialien möglich sind – einschließlich Naturfasern, Misch- und synthetischen Textilien. Die dazugehörige Pigmenttinte TP410 besitzt die Zertifizierung ZDHC MRSL Level 3 und trägt das bluesign® APPROVED-Siegel, das die Umwelt- und Anwendungssicherheit des Produkts gewährleistet. Damit bietet TRAPIS eine sichere, umweltfreundliche Lösung für Textilanwendungen in Bereichen wie Heimtextilien, Activewear und Mode.

Das einfache TRAPIS-Drucksystem rationalisiert die Produktion, da nur ein Tintenstrahldrucker und ein Hochdruckkalander notwendig sind. Druckdienstleister in aller Welt erhalten so leichteren Zugriff auf ein hochwertiges, nachhaltiges Textildruckverfahren. ​Aufgrund seiner geringeren Größe benötigt das System nur wenig Platz. Auch kostspielige Abwasserbehandlungsanlagen sind nicht notwendig. Darüber hinaus ist die Lösung einfach zu bedienen auch ohne komplexen Wartungsarbeiten und lässt sich flexibel an die Anforderungen der Kunden anpassen wie z.B. bei Kleinserien, bei denen mehrere Materialien zum Einsatz kommen. Nach der Bekanntgabe des Systems Anfang dieses Jahres dient die Heimtextil als Zwischenstopp auf der globalen TRAPIS-Roadshow, die am 27. November mit dem Mimaki Textile Day Open House in Amsterdam begann. Tras el lanzamiento comercial del sistema a principios de este año, TRAPIS ha llegado para revolucionar la industria textil doméstica con su proceso de impresión de transferencia de pigmentos textiles en dos pasos respetuoso con el medio ambiente. Al eliminar la necesidad de etapas de pretratamiento y lavado, TRAPIS reduce el uso de agua hasta en un 90 %, ahorrando aproximadamente 14,5 litros por metro cuadrado en comparación con los métodos tradicionales. Esta solución casi sin agua es ideal para diversas aplicaciones, como textiles para el hogar, ya que permite una impresión intensa en una amplia gama de materiales – incluidas fibras naturales, mezclas y sintéticos – con un solo tipo de tinta. La tinta de pigmento textil, certificada por ZDHC MRSL Lv.3 y con la etiqueta bluesign® APPROVED, garantiza tanto la protección del medioambiente como la seguridad del usuario, lo que convierte a TRAPIS en una solución segura y ecológica para aplicaciones textiles en sectores como la decoración del hogar, la ropa deportiva y la moda.

TRAPIS también simplifica la producción con su simplicidad, ya que solo requiere una impresora de inyección de tinta y una calandra de alta presión, haciendo que la impresión textil sostenible y de alta calidad sea más accesible para los proveedores de servicios de impresión de todo el mundo. ​Su tamaño compacto permite su instalación en espacios limitados, como la parte frontal de una imprenta, y elimina la necesidad de costosas instalaciones de tratamiento de aguas residuales. Además, la solución es fácil de utilizar, no requiere conocimientos especializados ni un mantenimiento complejo y se adapta a las demandas del cliente, incluso para tiradas cortas de múltiples materiales, al tiempo que mantiene altos estándares de seguridad, solidez del color, elasticidad y transpirabilidad.

TRAPIS se va de tour

Heimtextil será una de las primeras paradas del tour promocional global de TRAPIS – TRAPIS Roadshow – que empezó en Ámsterdam el 27 de noviembre con Textile Day Open House, una jornada de puertas abiertas dedicada al sector textil de Mimaki. Cada parada permitirá hacer una demostración de TRAPIS a un mercado regional diferente, ofreciendo una experiencia práctica con la nueva solución y mostrando la innovación de Mimaki en el sector textil. El tour promocional continuará en 2025, con paradas en países como Polonia y España, además de los que se anuncien en el próximo año.
