Results from the 2018 InPrint Show Survey reveal that the next challenge in growth for industrial Inkjet is regarded as being as much a communication challenge as it is a technical one. In response to this, and building upon two previous editions, InPrint and Pure Digital Show Co-Founders, Marcus Timson and Frazer Chesterman, invite the community of exhibitors, printers, designers, developers, integrators, software companies, ink companies, inkjet head manufacturers, component makers, curing companies, drying companies, OEMs and end-users to join us for the strongest ever programme to date.
Marcus Timson explains, “This event has grown out of our development groups when we launched InPrint – as it became clear that whilst industrial Inkjet has exciting growth potential, the market was experiencing ‘growing pains’. To remedy this, LiT offers a day of focusing on leadership, creativity, culture and communication – the often overlooked, but vital elements for growing an innovative business.”
Speakers include: Acclaimed marketing guru, Simon Burton delivering the opening keynote presentation ‘Storytelling for Entrepreneurs’, Rob Karsten EMEA Regional Director of Phoseon Technology will present the story behind the success of Phoseon, back again by popular demand is Richard Askam of WNC this time presenting ‘Adventures on Print Island’, also back is Marxist/Capitalist, Simon Biltcliffe for a fireside chat with Frazer Chesterman. Kevin Goemmine, CEO and entrepreneur behind the impressive Chili Publish will present ‘Hold the vision: Trust the process’, Clayton Sampson inkjet innovator and creative will deliver ‘The Technology Entrepreneur’ and Mike Grehan of LifeArt will tell the story of building a global LifeArt brand and he completes a superb cast of leaders, entrepreneurs and gurus for what promises to be the best ever LiT Summit.
Ricoh Europe will be hosting the Gala Dinner which takes place in the evening of the 28th June in the Murray Edwards College. Dave Varty explains why Ricoh is taking part, “This event strikes a chord with us at Ricoh as it is evident that as inkjet head, chemistry and engineering continues to improve, more and more, the challenge presented to us is as much a commercial one, so therefore focusing on the commercial challenges for inkjet is really important. The Gala Dinner presents us all with a great networking opportunity at the end of a day of seminars focusing on these challenges and hearing inspiring talks on successful entrepreneurs.”
Rob Karsten speaker and Networking Sponsor also supported the decision for Phoseon Technology to participate at LiT. “The Phoseon story itself is one of growth through adaptation. Whilst we have enjoyed tremendous success, we have also had to overcome adversity, so my presentation itself will provide insight into this and inspiration I hope for others to succeed in their own challenges and really help to grow industrial inkjet, which after all is in all of our interests.”
Frazer Chesterman concludes, “To break new boundaries into new markets takes leadership, not just technical competence. The communication skills necessary are perfectly encapsulated in this inspiring programme and we look forward to hosting this event and spending time with a select but inspiring group of people.”
